SBI CUSTOMER SUPPORT WITH MISSED CALL

SBI provides a free SBI –Quick service to all current customers, a missed call banking service. Customers can use this service to view information on their bank account, such as account balance, mini statement, chequebook request and more, by simply calling their registered mobile number on a missed call.

Customers must first register for this service by sending an SMS to 092234 8888 in order to use this service. The format is:

You will receive a confirmation message that you have been registered for SBI Quick, once you have registered for the service. After that, you can dial the following numbers for different services by losing them.

SBI CREDIT CARD CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER

You may contact the customer service team directly by using any of the following means to report lost or stolen cards or fraudulent activity on your credit cards.

  • · Go back to the official SBI card’s website, log in and immediately block your card by clicking the “lost/stolen card block” button and follow the instructions.
  • You can also send your lost/stolen card with your registered mobile number by sending an SMS BLOCK XXXX to 5676791. XXXX here refers to the card’s last 4 digits.

Alternatively, at 1860 500 1290/1860 180 1290, you can call the customer service team to immediately block your card. The number you are reporting a card is 39 02 02 02 The number (prefix the local STD code). Remember that the numbers are available 24 x 7 days a year, 365 days a year.

SBI VIRTUAL ASSISTANT – ILA

SBI provides chatbots – ILA for all card-related questions with interactive artificial intelligence. Customers may ask ILA for a request and the chatbots provide the right answers to customers.

SBI GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL MECHANISM

SBI provides an effective grievances remedial mechanism to its clients. Here is a summary of the different measures in the redress of grievances.

Level 1

Customers should contact the Service Manager, the Customer Relations Executive or the Branch Manager for assistance with issues related to banking transactions.

In the complaint book which is accessible from all SBI branches, customers can also write a complaint. If you write a complaint in the book, you receive a copy of the complaint with a receipt for confirmation.

Within a maximum time of three weeks the division will process the complaint for customer satisfaction. If the bank cannot address the complaint in this situation, the purpose and the status of the complaint shall be notified to the customer along with further steps to resolve it early.

In the event that the Customer cannot visit the branch, the complaint can be lodged on other platforms such as:

  • Calling the customer care toll-free numbers 1800 425 3800, 1800 11 22 11 or 080-26599990 (Toll Number).
  • By sending SMS “UNHAPPY” to 8008 20 20 20.
  • By writing an email to [email protected] 
  • Lodge the grievance online using the bank’s website. Head to the Customer Care option and tap on the complaints link.

These networks will send customers to the relevant branches for action.

Level 2

If the Customer is not happy with the complaint resolution at level 1, the Customer may contact the following address:
